Santa
Barbara's gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender travel guide to
our beautiful city. Known throughout California AND the world for
its exceptional beauty, Santa Barbara boasts stretches of palm-lined
beaches, stunning scenery and architecture, fabulous nightlife, spectacular
accommodations, and an outstanding variety of cultural attractions
- PLUS a supportive community that celebrates its unity and diversity!
GSB is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) public benefit organization. Were
it not for the generosity of GSBs Donors,
Community Members
and Business Members, with volunteer hours and financial contributions, SB Pride
would not be taking place at all nor would GSB be able to continue
with our ongoing cultural programs. Please be sure to let our sponsors
know how much you appreciate their support with YOUR support - throughout
the year. |

2006 News |
"I am pleased to extend warm greetings to all who have gathered for this year's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Pride Celebrations."
"California is proud to host events that celebrate diversity and support active civic participation. I applaud your efforts to foster ties within your community and to promote cultural and social acceptance in our Golden State."
"Much progress has been made in the past 35 years to combat discrimination and prejudice against the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community. I salute Californians for standing up for America’s democratic ideals and working to advance respect and appreciation for all people. Your efforts serve to raise public awareness and advocate civil rights for all individuals, regardless of sexual orientation."
"On behalf of all Californians, I offer my best wishes for every continued success."
Sincerely,
Arnold Schwarzenegger

We at GSB would like to remind you to "Get OUT The Vote!"
Our nation and the LGBT community are at a very critical point
in our development. Forces wishing to take away the very rights
so many of us have fought and died for are rallying against us at
this moment and the best hope we have is to use the power of our
votes to stop them.
Gay Santa Barbara will once again have an Official U. S. Government
Gay Post Office (really!) at Santa Barbara Pride for all of you
not registered to vote. Of course you can send your "I got OUT in
SB" souvenir postcards to your friends and family with official
SB Pride Station cancellation stamps as well!
This project is funded in part by the Community Events & Festivals
Program using funds in part by the City of Santa Barbara and in partnership
with the Santa Barbara County Arts Commission.
